- Sylvester died on Aug. 9, 1741, but before his death on May 21, 1743 he divided his property between his two sons, Micheal and Wilhelmus (Gulielmus or William). William got the "Schurgtermolen" and "Schurgterbampt" meaning the land surrounding. Michel (Micheal) got "Bisschopshoff" and the land surrounding. "Bisschopshoff" was the farm and "Schurgtermolen" was the flour mill. "Schurgtermolen" was the forth and last water mill on the "Itterbeek" (small water way) in Tongerlo. Theoldest information on the "Schurgtermolen" is from 1674. It was part of the " Houthuysen" from which the "Bisschopshoff" was a part as well. The first official known owners were Sylvester Hendrix and Company. After work of the "Itterbeek" the "Schurgtermolen" disappeared. Now there is a farm called "Schurgterfarm" on the place where once was "Schurgtermolen". At the entrance of the farm still stands the original mill stone of "Schurgtermolen".

Bail des pecheries : voir la fiche 110, Gery Piret, la note no 4 (de Meurs-Piret) Sur Martin et les deux 'Jean' (Jehan) fils de Martin et de Gery.: JEAN PIRET (fls de Gery) : le 25 fevrier 1553, il essaie de prendre en bail les pecheries dans les etangs du chateau de Genappe, mais c'est son eponyme (et sans doute cousin germain) Jehan fils de Martin qui obtient la location (cf. Gaston Braive, Le chateau de Genappe, ouvrage recent). Ce dernier signe "Jehan Pire", et son nom est ecrit "Piere"dans l'acte.

Citation du livre de Gaston Braive, p. 48 : "La vente publique du 25 fevrier 1553 pour le bail de douze ans debutant en mars fut assez particuliere. Pour les premiere fois depuis longtemps, elle mettait aux prises non pas des poissonniers bruxellois, mais des habitants de Genappe et de sa region et, plus surprenant encore, deux homonymes, l'un Jean Piere(t), fils de Martin, l'autre Jean Pire(t) fils de Gery (Ordonnance et compte rendu de la vente du 25.021553, ARR. CC. Acquits, 1586)... Il s'agit de deux personnages connus, notables de la region. Jean PIERET, fils de Martin, avait herite de rentes sur les Domaines et Jean, fils de Gery, fermier d'Hulencout et fils du fermier de Passavant, etait le pere du recteur de la chapelle de Promelles, Jacques Piret.
