Most of the information in this database has been collected by Gijs van Bloemendaal and Jean Joseph Meerts. Gijs van Bloemendaal also corresponded much information from L. van Amsterdam (The Hague) and K. Bijsterveld (Groningen). The main body contains the antcesters of Gijs van Bloemendaal. The Meerts family enters in his ahnentable through his mother.
